A concrete cantilevered staircase designed for a private client's residence in Bishop's Stortford, UK.
The staircase was constructed using folded modular-steel and cantilevered treads hung on the wall, with no support from the bottom landing. to give a seamless appearance. The treads are clad in pre-cast white concrete to the top and undersides, with a four metre long outer GRC stringer to conceal the glass fixings and create a seamless feel.
